Smart Buttons use Extensible Markup Language (XML) for its scripting language to create or modify Smart Buttons. Many of the Smart Buttons controls offer an intuitive user interface in addition to the option of coding or modifying directly in XML.
XML is a text-based format for representing structured information such as documents, data, configuration, books, transactions, and invoices. This format can be read by both machines and humans. XML was first introduced in 1998, and is currently in common use by numerous software applications and web sites.
